Another cracking morning for a swim at Coll Beach. Colleen, Mhairi & Helen were out enjoying the calm sea's. 5k done. Duckman was saying 13.3 degrees on average, which was nice. Plenty of crabs and a few jellyfish.
Had the pleasure of swimming alongside Scottish swim champion Colleen Blair this morning. This is the woman who thinks nothing of nipping out for a 'wee' 3 hour swim. Duckman was saying a tropical 12.5 degrees on average. 5k pre work swim done.
Nice morning on land but not so nice in the sea. Good in-coming tidal current and chop to contend with, but all part of the experience and learning how to deal with it. 5k Wetsuit swim. Duckman was saying 13.7 degrees on average.
Good 5k skins swim at Coll Beach this morning. Plenty of wildlife on the go and got to swim with the 2 seals pretty close. Saw Mark Doug. Duckman was saying an average of 14.1 degrees.
A few photo's from this mornings pre work 5k skins swim at Coll Beach. Duckman was saying 13.6 degrees on average. Nice to be back in more manageable temperatures
The Flannans Swim Team have a training session from Bosta Beach to Little Bernera. Fantastic location and a great day out.
Good pre work 5k skins swim at Coll Beach this morning. Nice wee workout into the current on the way up but yeehah on the way back. Got a new Duckman, which was suspiciously saying 14.1 degrees....
Angus is away tomorrow to live&work in Skye, so we had a leaving swim this morning for him down at Coll Beach. Sea was like a millpond and duckman was saying a summertime high of 12.9 degrees.
Great way to start the week off with a pre work skins swim down at Coll Beach. Only had time for the 1 lap this morning (2.5k). Duckman was saying 11.7 degrees on average.
Thanks to Conal & Ruaraidh from HebDrone for supporting the Flannan Isles Mystery Swim by coming along to Traigh Mhor, Tolsta to film some footage this lovely evening of the 3 of us swimming. Big waves all round. Duckman was saying 12.9 degrees.
